Your path to a home, step by step.
We know that finding a home in a new country can feel impossible. We understand because we have made this move ourselves. Here is what happens when you reach out to us and what you can expect every step of the way.

Next Chapter Netherlands was founded because too many newcomers were experiencing a bumpy landing. We knew there had to be a better way! Taking the leap is hard enough, so we want to do everything we can to make your landing as soft as possible.
Our Process
1) You reach out
It starts with a simple message. Share a little about your situation - where you are and what you need, as well as your priorities, budget, and timeline.
Get in touch with us and we will respond within two working days.
2) We listen and assess
Next we offer a free 20-minute consultation to learn more about your unique situation, budget, and priorities.
This is an informal conversation. We want to understand you as a person, not just process a form. All conversations are confidential.
3) We build your
housing plan
Based on what we learn, we create a personalized housing plan. This will outline the steps we will take together, the documents you will need to provide, a realistic timeline, and our fees. Sign our agreement to move forward.
We collect a €1000 deposit up front, excluding 21% VAT. Our total fee for our relocation services will be the equivalent of one month’s rent (€2000 minimum).
4) We search and
advocate
Our team reaches out to our network of housing partners and landlords. We help get your paperwork in order, schedule the viewings, and handle the negotiations.
You do not need to fully understand the Dutch housing system – that is our job.
5) Sign lease and
move in
Once we have found the right home, we walk with you through the moving process. We help you understand the lease terms, sign the lease, and we are there to handover the keys and officially welcome you to your new home.
